Small Animal

Georgia

Georgia has been a part of the team since February 2022. She co-runs the Lifetime Care Club with Tabitha, and helps with the day-to-day tasks of the practice.

Outside of the practice Georgia dances and is involved with an amateur dramatic society, performing with them since 2010. She is currently training to be a ballet teacher. Her favourite animals are dogs, but she loves meeting the wide variety of pets we get through the door each day.

Nina Hamilton

Nina graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005. She is is glad to be back at St Boniface where she worked in 2014-2015 before having children. She loves all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, especially ophthalmology. Forming bonds with both her patients and their owners is really important to Nina!
Outside of work her two children keep her on her toes, she still attempts to travel when possible and loves food - both cooking it and eating it
 

Alice Mahony

Alice is originally from the West coast of Ireland but moved to Bristol to undertake her Veterinary degree. She graduated from the University of Bristol in July 2020 and started working at St Boniface shortly after. Alice enjoys working as a first opinion Equine and Small Animal Vet and loves the variety they both bring. 

In her spare time, Alice does horse riding, enjoys swimming and has recently taken up rugby. She also has a cat called Bessie who is very sassy!
 

Tabitha

Tabitha joined the St Boniface Vets administration team in February 2022. She has a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Equitation Science.  

She currently enjoys getting involved in various aspects within the admin role however has a keen interest in working with animals and animal pharmaceuticals.  

Laura

Laura has been working in a Veterinary setting since 2014 and qualified as an RVN in Dec 2019. Over the past few years, she has developed an interest in anaesthesia protocols and monitoring and she enjoys the daily challenges and problem solving that they bring to the role. At home, Laura’s pets include Buck the spaniel, Scout the cat and Roger the cockerel plus his hens, Maggie May, Mrs Robinson and Penny Lane. In her spare time Laura is kept busy by her young daughter, but when she does get a moment, she likes to play the guitar, and binge watch a good TV series.

Abby

Abby qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017, before this she completed her extended diploma in animal management at Bicton College. She joined the St Boniface team in May 2021 having previously worked in practices that treated a whole variety of animals including small, large and exotic species. 

Abby enjoys all aspects of the job but her key interest is radiography (x-rays).

Outside of work she enjoys exploring the countryside with her cocker spaniel Cleo, reading and catching up with family and friends. 

COVID-19 UPDATE

We wanted to update you on our plan going into the second lockdown. Yesterday evening our governing body, the RCVS, released a statement clarifying the position.

We can provide treatment essential for maintaining animal health and welfare, along with non-urgent work providing that social distancing measures and safe working can be maintained.
