Meet the Team - Administrative Staff

Donna

Small Animal & Equine Manager

Donna joined the practice in October 2010, back when we were in Mill Street. She started off as a receptionist and is now our Small Animal & Equine Manager. She assists with the day to day running of the practice, she is passionate about the client journey and supporting staff.  She also likes to be able to offer support during the sadder times to our clients if they need it.

Donna works 3 days a week, in her spare time she goes for lots of walks and trips to the park with her two children, Freddie & Poppy. She also has a senior cat called Millie, a timid tabby, who came from Cats Protection.

Sadie

Farm Department Manager

Sadie is our Farm Department Manager and joined the St Boniface farm team in December 2019 as an administrator. She grew up on an Exmoor beef and sheep farm, and has worked in mixed veterinary practices in Devon since leaving school. Sadie qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2010, but nursing has taken a back seat since having children. 

Outside of work, Sadie and her husband have recently ventured into dairy farming, so she is kept very busy with mischievous Jersey cows on top of two young children.

Tina VPAC

Finance Manager

Tina joined the practice in 2002 as a book-keeper.  She became Practice Manager in 2008 and successfully completed a Veterinary Practice Administration Certificate in March 2010.  Amongst her many tasks she is responsible for accounts and the day to day running of the practice. 

She has a Border Collie called Scamp, two cats Mitsy and Lucifer.

When she is not at work she is busy at home with her hobbies which include reading, card making, mixed media and crocheting.

Sarah

Head Receptionist

Sarah joined the St Boniface team in November 2021 as our new Head receptionist. She has worked in another veterinary practice for 16 years and others before that. She Qualified as Veterinary nurse in the 1980's and then later, as a Registered General Nurse.

She has an keen interest gentle reward based dog training and has completed Gundog club tests to grade 4 with her dog Jack.

Naomi

Small Animal & Equine Pharmacy Manager

Naomi joined the admin team at St Boniface Vets in October 2018 as a receptionist and is now our Small Animal & Equine Pharmacy Manager.

She has a Foundation Degree in Equine Science and has lived in Cheshire working at a riding school where she gained her riding instructor qualification and began producing young horses.

She is enjoying learning about the animal pharmaceutical industry and is looking forward to working towards her SQP qualification.

In her spare time Naomi enjoys spending time with friends and family, training horses and discovering new and exciting walks with her dog Max, the happiest Boxer dog in the world!

Angela

Human Resources Advisor

Angela joined the team in October 2023 working in the support team as Human Resources Advisor and making it her duty to cuddle every passing animal. Outside of work if not taming her young feral 5 & 6 year olds whilst hanging upside down from a tree, you'll find her riding her bike across the continent or building furniture.

Steph

Veterinary Administrator

Steph joined the practice in September 2020, and enjoys working within the Admin team. She loves getting to know clients and pets alike and is always on hand to offer puppy cuddles and pet treats.

Steph currently works part time after having her little girl in 2022. When she’s not working Steph enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as walking with her crazy Cockerpoo, Rosie.

Amanda

Equine Coordinator & Veterinary Administrator

Amanda is an Equine Co-Ordinator and Veterinary Administrator here at St Boniface since October 2022. She has grown up with horses and has spent many years competing, hence the strong interest in Equine.

When she is not working, Amanda enjoys looking after her horses and enjoys working and training her black Labrador Darcy.

Katie

Veterinary Administrator

Katie joined the practice in October 2021 as an administrator. She can normally be found on reception or mopping the floor in the waiting room! No two days are ever the same here at St Boniface vets!

Katie loves all the interaction with our clients pets, having sadly lost her elderly collie Mabel just after she joined us.

She enjoys swimming and walking in our beautiful Devon countryside.

Georgia

Veterinary Administrator

Georgia has been a part of the team since February 2022. She co-runs the Lifetime Care Club with Tabitha, and helps with the day-to-day tasks of the practice.

Outside of the practice Georgia dances and is involved with an amateur dramatic society, performing with them since 2010. She is currently training to be a ballet teacher. Her favourite animals are dogs, but she loves meeting the wide variety of pets we get through the door each day.

Tabitha

Veterinary Administrator

Tabitha joined the St Boniface Vets administration team in February 2022. She has a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Equitation Science.  

She currently enjoys getting involved in various aspects within the admin role however has a keen interest in working with animals and animal pharmaceuticals.  

Outside of work Tabitha has two horses Percy, her 13-year-old warmblood, who as a homebred boy, has been with her always. Foxy a 3-year-old thoroughbred ex-race horse who Tabitha will soon begin retraining. Tabitha and her boyfriend enjoy spontaneous trips away to see family and friends and the occasional day fishing!!  They also share four cats Goblin, Elf, Smidge and Shadow.

Nycki

Equine Coordinator & Veterinary Administrator

Nycki joined the St Boniface team in August 2019 after working on a local farm teaching children about agriculture and where food comes from. When Nycki left school she worked as a Veterinary Nurse/receptionist for 3 years for a local practice before leaving to become a freelance groom for both private individuals and yards. She has been enjoying getting back into the veterinary profession in an administrative role and loves to meet clients and their pets alike.

Outside of work Nycki enjoys family life with her 2 young girls and has recently started a small flock of Derbyshire Gritstones to run alongside the commercial sheep at home. When time allows Nycki can be found working her 4 spaniels, and being her oldest daughter’s groom!

Laura

Accounts Clerk

Laura joined in January 2018 as an Accounts Clerk.  She relocated to Devon from London in 2005 and has two children, who keep her very busy! She also has a Cockapoo called Ruby, who also keeps everyone very busy!  They enjoy long walks on Dartmoor, and Laura also enjoys reading, baking, travelling and spending time with friends and family.  

Jo

Veterinary Administrator

Jo joined the practice in October 2017 to work part time on reception. She has a real passion for meeting and working with animals, and particularly loves dogs. She has a happy-go-lucky black Labrador called Harry.
 
Jo splits the rest of her week looking after her two children and designing wedding and events stationery and greeting cards. She also loves going on holidays and travelling around Cornwall in the camper.

Sarah

Accounts Clerk

Sarah first joined us back in July 2014 as a Receptionist, and has recently returned to a new role in the Finance Team.

She has two young boys and her terrier cross, Ronnie, to keep her busy outside of work!  Originally from the outskirts of London, she loves everything Devon has to offer, whether it be exploring Dartmoor, trekking the stunning coastline or being in the sea, lakes or rivers doing whatever water sports are on offer!

 

 

Kirsty Bonning

TB Coordinator

Kirsty joined the practice in January 2024 as our TB Coordinator. She has a close connection to farming with her husband and has a group of beef animals. Her passions outside of work are depicting rural life through her painting and love of animals with animal portraits. In her spare time she loves volunteering with children and youth work in the area and working hard to convert a 300 year old Devon cob barn.

Chiara Martin

Bude Office Farm Administrator

Chiara joined St Boniface in April 2024, as Farm Administrator for our Bude branch, Chiara enjoys speaking to clients local to the Bude area and works closely with the rest of the team back in Crediton. She lives locally to Bude, on a dairy farm with her Husband, 3 children, dog, two cats and 3 chickens!

Outside of work, Chiara can be found at home rearing calves, training her faithful collie Hazel, cutting hair in her home-salon as a qualified Hairdresser, or hiking the moors or coastline. In June, Chiara travelled to Scotland to take part in a hikathon through the Glencoe and Cairngorms.
