Autumn and Winter still present a risk of Flea Infestation and Tick Related illness

Fleas and ticks aren’t just unpleasant parasites; they also spread disease to your pet and sometimes to your family.  Keeping your dog in the best of health means ensuring freedom from fleas and ticks. 

It may not be obvious that these parasites are living on your pet or in your home, so checking for them properly means knowing what to look for.

The end of the year brings many reasons to celebrate and unfortunately this also brings many reasons for your pet to be nervous. If you have a pet suffering from a noise phobia fireworks on Bonfire Night and New Year’s Eve can make the party season stressful. Preparation is the key when trying to address the problem: the sooner you start the better.

Dental pain is often underestimated by pet owners.  Often we assume animals will stop eating if their mouth hurts.  This will sometimes occur in extreme pain but most animals continue to eat, even with severe dental pain, as eating is such a strong survival instinct.

Other symptoms may include bad breath, dribbling, eating more slowly – or they may show no outward signs at all.

We are offering free dental checks with a vet between 21st and 25th July to assess the state of your pet’s oral health.

We have teamed up with WORM PATROL to be able to provide our clients with a free text message or email reminder for when your pets worming treatment is due.  Simply ask one of the receptionists, who will be happy to sign you up.
