Alex Just

Alex graduated from Bristol University in 2003 and after a short spell in mixed practice has worked as a small animal vet ever since. She enjoys all aspects of first opinion work and loves working alongside reception staff, nurses and fellow vets to provide caring and compassionate veterinary care.

She is married to Chris, one of the farm vets at the practice, and they have two teenage daughters who keep them busy. When not at work she enjoys spending time walking their very energetic dog Pip.

Harm van den Meijdenberg

Harm joined the farm team in February 2025. Born on a dairy farm in the Netherlands, a future involving cattle was inevitable. After graduating from Ghent University in Belgium in 2013, adventure pulled and he came straight to the UK. A long journey from Northern Ireland via Oxfordshire brought him in 2021 to the beautiful southwest. It was COVID and a young child that got him convinced to move closer to his wife’s roots in Cornwall.

Harm enjoys all aspects of farm practice, but has a big interest in infectious disease control, large animal surgery and driving sustainability.
