Carly Cook

Carly has been at St Boniface since 2022 and is purely a small animal vet, although she started as a mixed vet, and has her own flock of sheep at home to practise on! Carly qualified nearly 16 years ago from Edinburgh Vet School, and has worked mainly in Devon since moving back home to the family farm in 2010.

Carly's interests outside of work include walking, baking and decorating cakes and various farm related shenanigans.

Beth

Beth started with St Boniface in 2021 as our student vet nurse. She loves the inpatient care and giving lots of extra cuddles. Beth has now started her nurse training at Bicton College.

Beth loves all types of animals, having had plenty of experience of looking after all the pets on her families small holding.

Caroline Jones

Caroline qualified as a RVN back in 2000 and has sinced gained her ECC certificate, RCVS advanced diploma and BSc hons in Clinical Veterinary Nursing.   Most recently she has been working as a locum working in a wide range of positions and practices all over the country before heading home to Devon.  She enjoys most of the varied roles which veterinary nursing offers but has a particular interest in Emergency and critical care and Anaesthesia.

Caroline became a member of the night nurse team in February 2024 and is enjoying the different challenges that night work presents.

Chloe Mobbs

Chloe officially joined the team in May 2022 having locumed with us for a while. Her career started in mixed practice after graduating from the RVC in 2014, but after a few years decided to focus on small animals. She lives on a small regenerative farm with her husband so when not vetting is generally chasing sheep or fixing fences. She loves gardening, music and a good walk or run in the Devon countryside.

Amelia Chichester

Amelia joined the team at St Boniface Vets in 2023 after graduating as a Vet from Bristol University. She is originally from Devon but over the other side of the moors, in Tavistock. Having previously had a career in the NHS working in London, Bristol and Plymouth, Amelia has now decided to come and settle back in Devon.

Here at St Boniface Vets, Amelia is currently undertaking mixed practice, across Small Animal, Equine and Farm, as she has a huge interest in all creatures great and small. She is excited to meet all of our clients out on farm, in the practice or on a yard!

Small Animal & Equine Veterinarian Vacancy

We are a proudly independent, mixed practice in beautiful mid Devon near Exeter, moors and coasts so plenty of opportunity to develop a great work/life balance. To enable this to happen we are offering:
