Focus on St Boniface Veterinary Clinic

Friday, 5 June 2015 - 5:55pm

St Boniface Veterinary Clinic of Exeter Road, Crediton has supported local families and their pets for more than six decades.

Since 2001 St Boniface Vets has grown from a two-vet mixed practice to a 13-strong veterinary team; offering dedicated small animal, equine and large animal services.

Despite this expansion it remains a family-run business committed to providing the best in veterinary care.

Marie Kemmish, Small Animal Director, is very proud of her team who are all experienced vets with specific interests of their own.  Nina Hamilton has a special interest in eyes and is currently studying for a certificate in Opthalmology.  Anna Jesse likes to see any patients with a skin issue and Emma Waldram-Macabe has a passion for the more unusual pets; such as bearded dragons, snakes and tortoises!  Jane White heads up the physiotherapy and rehabilitation service offering hydrotherapy and acupuncture.

Since taking over the Wolfgar Practice at Cheriton Bishop, the vets are fortunate to have grown their Equine Team and facilities and now offer a full compliment of equine services from routine preventative medicine, vettings and lameness work ups to surgical procedures and hospitalisation.

And finally, they have a progressive Large Animal Team, headed up by Tony Kemmish.  The team boasts two diploma holders and other vets studying for advanced farm animal certificates. The vets work closely with clients; providing a bespoke production animal service as well as innovative, advanced breeding techniques. St Boniface Vets are one of only four practices in Great Britain practicing IVF in cattle.

No matter what your concern, big or small, we are here for you 24/7.

Marie Kemmish says "This year we are exhibiting at the following agricultural shows; Devon County, Royal Cornwall, Mid Devon, Okehampton and Chagford.  We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
If you are unable to see us at one of the shows, please have a look at our website; where you can sign up to our newsletters, or like us on Facebook.   Alternatively, feel free to pop in anytime, we are happy to chat and show you around – we look forward to seeing you very soon!”
