Staff Members - Nursing Staff


Head Nurse (Registered VN, RSQP)

She hosts our puppy parties once a month and enjoys watching the transformation from cheeky pups to adored family pets! Sarah qualified as a Nurse in 2006, she leads the Veterinary Nurse team here at St Boniface. She is responsible for training our student nurses while in the clinic. Her main interests are surgical nursing, in house laboratory testing and anaesthesia. Outside of work Sarah can be found exploring the beautiful Devon countryside with her Labrador Tarn.


Veterinary Nurse (Registered VN)

Sadie qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2004 after studying at Bicton College.

She has always worked in Mixed Practice and enjoys the variety of patients that brings.

In her spare time, Sadie enjoys running, riding and competing on her horse - Rowan.


Veterinary Nurse (Registered VN)

Sammi qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2015.  She has also completed an Animal Nursing Assistant qualification at Bicton College in 2010. 

She enjoys looking after all sorts of animals and finds caring for them very rewarding.

In her spare time, she sometimes goes out to see her deaf friends at a local deaf club and learns sign language.  She also enjoys exploring the countryside with her dog - Poppy.


Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Leanne is one of our trainee veterinary nurses. She is currently training at Bicton College and is thoroughly enjoying it. Leanne is familiar with Bicton, as she obtained her extended diploma in animal management and qualified as an animal nursing assistant (ANA) in 2014.

She enjoys helping Jane with the hydrotherapy and seeing all the on going cases.

Leanne has four family dogs, who love their walks, especially, her Newfoundland, Molly.  


Student Veterinary Nurse

Deanna started working as an ANA at St Boniface in 2015, having previously completed two NVQs in Equine Care and Breeding. She has since progressed on to starting her Veterinary Nurse Training at Bicton College, and loves caring for all the patients that come into the practice, as well as assisting with Equine and Farm work.

In her spare time she loves riding and competing her horse Allegra, going to the cinema and watching motorbike racing.


Student Veterinary Nurse

Grace started working as an ANA at St Boniface in 2016. She has since progressed onto starting her Veterinary Nurse training at Bicton College.

Grace loves all aspects of the job including inpatient care and monitoring anaesthetics.

She spends most of her spare time trying to entertain her crazy kitten, Leela, who only has one eye! She also enjoys a classic car show or two in the summertime.
